Official (107)

PlaywrightOfficial

Playwright has an official MCP server published by Microsoft (microsoft/playwright-mcp, npm @playwright/mcp). It runs locally on your machine over stdio via npx, needs no account or API key, and drives a real browser. Caveat: the project states it is not a security boundary, and it has no server-wide read-only mode.

FigmaOfficial

Figma publishes an official MCP server. The remote server at mcp.figma.com/mcp works with Claude, Cursor and VS Code using Figma sign-in, and a desktop variant runs locally. It reads designs and generates code, and the remote server can also write to Figma files. Free-plan and View seat usage is capped at six calls per month.

GitHubOfficial

GitHub publishes an official MCP server, github/github-mcp-server, available as a remote endpoint at api.githubcopilot.com and as a local Docker build. The remote server signs in with OAuth or a personal access token. It includes write tools such as merge_pull_request and delete_repository, so use read-only mode or limited toolsets.

BlenderOfficial

Blender Lab, the Blender project's experimental division, publishes an official MCP server and add-on for Blender 5.1 or newer. It runs locally: the add-on inside Blender talks to a separate server process. It can execute LLM-written Python in your scene, and Blender warns it has no safeguards, so use a VM or non-sensitive machine.

Chrome DevToolsOfficial

Chrome DevTools has an official MCP server (chrome-devtools-mcp) published by Google's ChromeDevTools organization and announced on developer.chrome.com. It runs locally via npx, needs no account, and controls a live Chrome for debugging, performance traces and automation. Caveats: it exposes browser content to the client, and usage statistics are on by default.

SlackOfficial

Slack publishes an official remote MCP server at mcp.slack.com/mcp, and Anthropic lists it as a verified Claude connector made by Slack. It uses OAuth with per-tool user scopes, and workspace admins must approve the client. It can send messages and edit canvases, so review permissions before enabling.

Metricool hosts an official remote MCP server at ai.metricool.com/mcp, documented in its help center, and its help center says it is listed in Claude's Connectors Directory. It uses OAuth, works on any Metricool plan including Free subject to plan limits, and can read analytics and manage the planner. No read-only mode is documented.

BufferOfficial

Buffer documents an official remote MCP server at mcp.buffer.com/mcp on its developer site. Claude connects with OAuth, while other clients use an API key as a Bearer token. It can list, create, edit and delete posts, so review actions before approving. No public source repo was found.

Copilot MoneyOfficial

Copilot Money has announced an official MCP server in beta, available through a waitlist and described as read-only to start, with Claude, ChatGPT and Codex CLI tested. No public endpoint, docs or tool list was found. A community server, copilot-money-mcp, reads your local data and can optionally write.

DoorDashOfficial

DoorDash runs an official hosted MCP server for corporate ordering, documented on developer.doordash.com, but it is in private beta and limited to approved testers on a waitlist. It uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, and its submit_order tool charges a real payment method. No Claude directory listing was found.

RipplingOfficial

Rippling offers its own first-party Rippling MCP, announced on its blog and product pages. It acts as the signed-in employee, under an admin-controlled MCP Gateway policy. It exposes a code tool and an ask_ai tool, and writes follow Rippling's approval flows. A Rippling AI plan is required, and the endpoint URL was not found.

OnshapeOfficial

PTC publishes an official Onshape FeatureScript MCP Server, announced August 13, 2026 and offered through the Onshape Labs early-access program. It is a remote HTTP server that lets coding AI tools write, run and debug FeatureScript inside Onshape documents. It is FeatureScript-focused, not a general Onshape document server, and its auth and plan details are not published.

SafariOfficial

Apple's WebKit team publishes a Safari MCP server built into safaridriver, introduced in Safari 27 and Safari Technology Preview 247. It runs locally on a Mac, exposes 17 tools for debugging pages, and needs remote automation enabled in Safari's Developer settings. The server has no sign-in. It can run JavaScript and click through pages.

Community only (18)

ObsidianCommunity only

no official Obsidian MCP server was verified. Obsidian ships its own CLI for scripting and agentic tools, but that is not MCP. Community servers, such as MarkusPfundstein/mcp-obsidian, run locally and talk to your vault through the Local REST API plugin using an API key, and can delete notes.

GodotCommunity only

no official MCP server from the Godot Engine project was verified. Several community servers exist; the most starred, Coding-Solo/godot-mcp, runs locally via npx and can launch the editor, run projects, read debug output and edit scenes. No Claude directory listing was found, and its last push was in April.

LinkedInCommunity only

no official LinkedIn or Microsoft MCP server was verified, and no Claude connector for LinkedIn was found in Anthropic's directory. The leading option is a community server that drives your logged-in browser session locally. LinkedIn's rules prohibit third-party automation and scraping tools, so account restriction is a real risk.

GhidraCommunity only

no official Ghidra MCP server is verified. Ghidra is published by the NSA, and its repository contains no MCP server we could find. The most popular option is GhidraMCP, a community project by LaurieWired: a Ghidra plugin plus a local bridge that exposes decompile, search and rename tools. It has no documented authentication.

PostgreSQLCommunity only

no official PostgreSQL MCP server was verified; the PostgreSQL project publishes none. The best-known server, the modelcontextprotocol reference implementation, is archived and had a documented read-only bypass. Maintained community options such as Postgres MCP Pro run locally with a connection string. Use a read-only database role regardless.

NotebookLMCommunity only

no official MCP server or Claude connector for NotebookLM was verified. Google documents an enterprise notebooks API on Google Cloud, now titled Gemini Notebook Enterprise, but no Google-published MCP server. Community servers exist; they drive NotebookLM through your Google login or undocumented endpoints, and the most-starred one is archived.

DiscordCommunity only

no official Discord MCP server that can act on servers, channels or messages is verified. Discord's developer docs do offer an official MCP server at docs.discord.com/mcp for searching documentation. Community servers such as SaseQ/discord-mcp use a Discord bot token to read and send messages and manage channels.

FramerCommunity only

no official Framer MCP server is verified. Framer's own docs say no separate MCP server is needed and offer a native Framer Agent connection, set up with npx @framer/agent setup, for Claude Code, Cursor and others. The MCP route found is a community Marketplace plugin that Framer's listing says is not official.

ZendeskCommunity only

no official Zendesk MCP server is verified. Zendesk's Relate 2026 announcements list its MCP Server as early access this summer, but we found no endpoint, developer documentation or repository from Zendesk. Zendesk's MCP client, for Zendesk calling other servers, is documented. Community-built servers exist, run locally, and are not published by Zendesk.

ZoteroCommunity only

no official Zotero MCP server is verified, and no Zotero team statement on one was found. Community options include the open-source 54yyyu/zotero-mcp, which runs locally against Zotero's local API, and a third-party hosted proxy that uses your Zotero API key. Review any server before giving it library access.

Google Search ConsoleCommunity only

no official Google Search Console MCP server is verified: Google's Workspace MCP servers do not include it, and every Search Console server found is a community project. Community servers use Google credentials you create, mostly read-only for analytics, with some adding sitemap and indexing submission. Claude connector status is not verified.

RedditCommunity only

Reddit's only verified MCP is devvit-mcp, which helps developers build Devvit apps and cannot read or post Reddit content. For reading subreddits and posts, the options are community servers such as jordanburke/reddit-mcp-server, which can also post and delete, and the read-only reddit-mcp-buddy.

Ableton LiveCommunity only

there is no official MCP server that controls Ableton Live. Claude's directory lists Ableton Knowledge, an Ableton-made connector that only searches manuals and release notes, and calls itself experimental. Live control comes from community servers like ahujasid/ableton-mcp, which have telemetry on by default.

KiCadCommunity only

no official KiCad MCP server is verified; KiCad's project organization on GitHub has no MCP repository, and the servers found are community projects. The most-starred, mixelpixx/KiCAD-MCP-Server, builds on KiCad's official IPC API and exposes board, schematic and routing tools. They run locally and can modify design files.

UniFi (Ubiquiti)Community only

no official UniFi MCP server from Ubiquiti is verified, and Ubiquiti's GitHub org has no MCP repository. The leading option is the community project sirkirby/unifi-mcp, which runs locally against your controller with a local admin login and can change network settings behind a preview-then-confirm step.

GarminCommunity only

no official Garmin MCP server is verified. The leading option is the community project Taxuspt/garmin_mcp, which logs into Garmin Connect through an unofficial library, exposes 110+ tools including delete and workout upload, and can be narrowed with enable and disable lists.

ProxmoxCommunity only

no official Proxmox MCP server from Proxmox Server Solutions is verified. Community servers such as ProxmoxMCP-Plus run locally with a Proxmox API token and can create, start and delete VMs and containers. Treat the token like a root-level credential and scope its role tightly.

YNABCommunity only

no official YNAB MCP server is verified. YNAB's API documentation lists three community-built MCP servers and says it does not support them. The one reviewed, by Oliver Ames, runs locally with a personal access token, starts read-only, and needs an explicit opt-in to write.
