Airtable MCP server & Claude connector
Does Airtable have an official MCP server or Claude connector?
Official
As of October 2026, Airtable hosts an official remote MCP server at mcp.airtable.com/mcp, documented on airtable.com and listed in Anthropic's connector directory as Anthropic verified and made by Airtable. It signs in with OAuth or a personal access token and can create and update records, fields and draft automations; read-only access is possible by limiting token scopes.

OAuth (admins can allowlist by OAuth client ID) or a personal access token; access follows the user's base permissions. Enterprise admins can set up a centralized read-only connection through a service account.

Write and delete access
Default connection can create and update records, fields, tables and bases, and edit/delete draft automations. Airtable documents a read-only setup by granting only data.records:read, schema.bases:read, data.recordComments:read and workspacesAndBases:read scopes on a token.

Tool-description injection scan
Read the tool descriptions and example prompts on Airtable's tools reference (and a Jev screen of it); nothing addressed to an AI beyond usage guidance such as calling get_create_automation_instructions first. Record content is untrusted input.

Repo maintenance
Hosted by Airtable; no public server repository found (Airtable/airtable-mcp-cli is a CLI, last push 2026-08-07).
