Zendesk MCP server & Claude connector

Does Zendesk have an official MCP server or Claude connector?

Community only

As of October 2026, no official Zendesk MCP server is verified. Zendesk's Relate 2026 announcements list its MCP Server as early access this summer, but we found no endpoint, developer documentation or repository from Zendesk. Zendesk's MCP client, for Zendesk calling other servers, is documented. Community-built servers exist, run locally, and are not published by Zendesk.

Safety check

  • Flag

    Publisher verified

Owned by an individual GitHub account (reminia), not Zendesk. The zendesk GitHub org lists no MCP server for Zendesk products.

  • Pass

    Auth model

OAuth with a public client and PKCE using your own Zendesk login; scopes can be capped (tickets:read tickets:write ticket_attachments:read users:read hc:read). API-token auth still works but is deprecated.

  • Flag

    Write and delete access

Exposes create_ticket, create_ticket_comment and update_ticket. Ticket text is untrusted content that could contain injected instructions. No read-only mode was confirmed (reduce risk by omitting the tickets:write scope).

FAQ

Does Zendesk have an official MCP server?

No official MCP server verified as of October 2026. Zendesk's Relate 2026 newsroom page lists the MCP Server as early access this summer; we found no endpoint, developer docs or GitHub repository for it.

What is the Zendesk MCP client?

A separate Zendesk feature in early access that lets Zendesk call other MCP servers from action flows. It does not let Claude connect to Zendesk.

Is Zendesk a Claude connector?

Not verified. We could not confirm a Zendesk listing in Anthropic's connector directory.

Are community servers safe?

They are not published by Zendesk. Review the code, use OAuth with limited scopes, and treat ticket text as untrusted.

Is there a read-only option?

reminia's server has no confirmed read-only mode; limiting the OAuth scopes to read-only scopes is the safest route.
