Gong MCP server & Claude connector
Does Gong have an official MCP server or Claude connector?
Official
As of October 2026, Gong operates an official remote MCP server at mcp.gong.io/mcp, documented in Gong's help center. A tech admin creates an integration in Gong, then each user connects Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot with OAuth. It is read-only and has three tools: ask_account, ask_deal and generate_brief. Claude directory listing not verified.

SourceSafety check
- Pass
Publisher verified
Documented on help.gong.io (Gong's own help center) with the endpoint on gong.io.
- Pass
Auth model
OAuth set up per client in Gong's admin center: automatic registration, or a Gong-issued client ID and secret. 'Personal access' limits data to each user's own permissions; 'shared access' gives all users one org-wide token, so prefer personal.
- Pass
Write and delete access
Docs state the server is read-only, returns summaries rather than raw transcripts, and excludes private calls.
- Unknown
Tool-description injection scan
Hosted closed-source server; tool descriptions not published. Gong help pages begin with a 'Documentation Index' block telling AI tools to fetch llms.txt, which was not followed and is not a tool description.
- Unknown
Repo maintenance
No public Gong MCP server repository found (the gong-io GitHub org lists none).
FAQ
Does Gong have an official MCP server?
Yes. Gong documents it in its help center and hosts it at https://mcp.gong.io/mcp.
Is Gong a Claude connector?

Yes, per Gong's docs. It returns summaries and does not create, update or delete data in Gong or the CRM.
What tools does it have?
ask_account, ask_deal and generate_brief, each with an optional includeSources parameter.
