Does Google Sheets have an official MCP server or Claude connector?

As of October 2026, Google publishes an official remote Google Sheets MCP server at sheetsmcp.googleapis.com, documented on developers.google.com as a Developer Preview with OAuth sign-in and six tools to read and update values, formulas and structure. No separate Claude Sheets connector was found; Claude's Google Drive connector reads Sheets content instead.
