Finance with MCP servers
Payments, accounting, budgeting and market data. 6 of 7 have an official server from the vendor.
Stripe hosts an official remote MCP server at mcp.stripe.com, documented on docs.stripe.com and listed in Anthropic's connector directory as Anthropic verified. It signs in with OAuth or an agent API key. It can write data and move money, though Stripe requires human confirmation for refunds and outbound payments.
Intuit publishes official QuickBooks MCP options: a hosted connector listed in Anthropic's directory as Anthropic verified, and an open-source local QuickBooks Online MCP server in the intuit GitHub org. Both can create, update and delete accounting records, but the local server can switch off write tools.
TradingView runs an official remote MCP server at mcp.tradingview.com/mcp, in public beta and documented on tradingview.com. It uses OAuth 2.1 with your TradingView account and needs an Essential or higher paid plan. It offers market data, screener, news, watchlists and alerts; docs list no broker or trade-execution tools.
Robinhood publishes an official remote Trading MCP server at agent.robinhood.com/mcp/trading, documented in its support center, with Claude Code and Claude Desktop setup steps. It can read all your accounts and place real trades in a dedicated Agentic account. Trade approvals are off by default for external agents.
Copilot Money has announced an official MCP server in beta, available through a waitlist and described as read-only to start, with Claude, ChatGPT and Codex CLI tested. No public endpoint, docs or tool list was found. A community server, copilot-money-mcp, reads your local data and can optionally write.
Monarch Money documents an official Monarch MCP Connector in its help center, but its help article (updated June 30, 2026) says the connector is temporarily paused over a partner data-portability question, and its status page lists MCP under maintenance. Community servers exist but store your Monarch password and MFA secret locally.
no official YNAB MCP server is verified. YNAB's API documentation lists three community-built MCP servers and says it does not support them. The one reviewed, by Oliver Ames, runs locally with a personal access token, starts read-only, and needs an explicit opt-in to write.
