Is it against LinkedIn's rules to use a LinkedIn MCP server?

LinkedIn's help page says it does not permit third-party software, including crawlers, bots and browser extensions, that scrapes or automates activity on its site, and that these violate its User Agreement. Browser-automation MCP servers fall in that area, so accounts can be restricted.

Can I use LinkedIn with Claude without scraping?

Some community servers say they use LinkedIn's official OAuth APIs with your own developer app, but none was verified here. An official-API route is limited to what LinkedIn's API programs approve.
