| How it runs | Runs on your machine | Hosted (remote URL) |

| Stage | Unknown | Beta |
| Plan needed | Needs a Google Cloud project with the Google Ads API enabled and API access for your project; the docs say developer tokens were sunset on September 9, 2026. | Cost not stated in sources read. Open beta per Meta's announcement. |
| Documented tools | 3 (3 read, 0 write) | 8 (3 read, 5 write) |
| Can delete data | No documented delete tools | Yes, 1 tool |
| Safety flags | OAuth 2.0 or service account via Application Default Credentials. The scope is the full https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope even though the server is read-only. Docs warn that Cloud Run with --allow-unauthenticated and no OAuth client falls back to ADC and would expose the service account. | OAuth via Facebook Login for Business (own Meta app, or Meta's no-developer-app path). A user access token with ads_management, business_management and related scopes is also supported for programmatic use; that token is broad. · Write tools can spend money (ads_activate_entity, ads_boost_ig_post) and delete audiences. Docs say create tools make paused entities and the AI client asks confirmation before activation. Meta says portfolio admins can set rules limiting agent actions (budget changes, catalog updates). No documented read-only mode was found. |
